About us

A love story to my childhood closet

Growing up as a mixed race kid in a space where diversity is limited, it was always difficult to fit in - especially when you already stand out by nature. Now, being a mixed race kid who loved fashion, colors and creating their own clothes didn’t exactly make blending in any easier. I got bullied from an early age, because of the color of my skin and how I dressed. I couldn’t change my skin color, but I could change how I dressed. So I did. Started wearing black, started following trends, seasons. I did everything I could to pretend like I was like everyone else. It didn’t take long until my entire personality had changed.

Years passed by, years of straightening my hair to look like all the blond girls. Years of dating with the constant thought ‘’Is this outfit basic enough?’’. Years of going out in clothes I didn’t feel comfortable in, because that’s what everybody else did.

Eventually, I started surrounding myself with people who accepted me, regardless of my skin color or how I dressed. I started to bring back all my favorite colors - the neon pink on Wednesdays, the bright green for a Friday Night out and the bold orange for a Sunday stroll.

I wore heels while grocery shopping, flip flops in every color and a matching phone case, always dressed up, no matter the occasion. Finally I felt complete. I spent years searching for a safe space, and it was there all along - inside my closet.

So with that said, I want to invite all of you inside my closet. An open space where everyone fits in, no matter skin color, type of hair, size, gender or what shoes you wear. A space for everyone who’s felt left out based on their outfit, their hair or simply just the color of their skin. A closet you can always feel comfortable in, where no outfit is too much or over the top.

Let’s create a space where everyone feels at home - where “overdressed” is expected, underdressed is uninspiring, and dressing for yourself is what matters most. Whatever the moment, there’s an outfit for you: comfy, sexy, sporty, or cute. For you, for me, for all of us.

Staying local

Bella Faith was born in Copenhagen - inspired by the city’s street style, where bike rides meet bold colors, and everyday looks turn into captivating moments.

At Bella Faith, we:

  • Use mainly deadstock and leftover fabrics — giving existing materials a second life.
  • Create handmade-to-order pieces — so nothing is wasted.
  • Design with zero-waste patterns wherever possible.
  • Keep production local — slow, thoughtful, and made to last.

We believe in slow fashion that feels alive: colorful, spontaneous, and full of joy. Because when you feel good in your clothes, it shows.
